Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Whitewash Decking handles personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Information we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address, the suburb your project is in and any details you share about the space. If you contact us on WhatsApp, we also receive your WhatsApp profile name and number.
How we use it
Your information is used solely to prepare and follow up on your decking quote, arrange a site measure, deliver and install your deck, and handle warranty queries afterwards. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Automated WhatsApp quoting
We use ReachMax to send automated WhatsApp quote responses. Messages you send through that channel are processed to generate an indicative price and are stored alongside your enquiry record.
Sharing
We share the minimum necessary information with our installation teams and, where relevant, with board suppliers processing a warranty claim. All of them are bound to use it only for that purpose.
Retention
Quote enquiries are kept for 24 months. Records relating to completed installations are kept for the length of the applicable warranty so we can honour claims.
Your rights under POPIA
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email or call us and we will action the request within 30 days.
Cookies
This website uses only the essential cookies needed to serve pages correctly. We do not run advertising trackers or sell browsing data.
